London Luton Airport is the fifth largest in the UK; in 2019, almost 18 million passengers travelled through its gates. To help those passengers get to their destinations, the airport’s IT services need to be constantly up and running.
The airport’s critical services, such as baggage handling, flight information, and car parking, are underpinned by IT. With an average of almost 40,000 passengers per day, if any of those systems went down, the effects would be catastrophic.

Our team provided a full package of support services called Foresight. This included 24/7 monitoring, incident management, configuration, and patch management. We also undertook regular infrastructure health checks to identify and solve any problems.
Additionally, the airport drew on Synapse360’s expertise in updating to Dell EMC and VMware technologies to get the maximum value out of their infrastructure, as well as ensure that they could upgrade elements of it to cope with increasing demand.
